Subject: You are invited to takeover management of the WebRing: "Writers' Guild"
The Manager of Writers' Guild, nari, invites you to assume the responsiblity of ring Manager. Accept this invitation by using this link:
If you think you might want to manage this ring, please visit the ring's hub page and click on the Adopt This ring link you'll find there.
Your acceptance reply will notify the system of your willingness to become ring Manager. The former Manager may have invited several people to assume this responsibility. In this case the WebRing system will automatically determine the new ring Manager. You will receive an email notifying you of the decision. To allow all interested parties to submit a reply and to process the responses, it will be up to 5 days before you are notified of the decision.
You can only be named ring Manager if your email address has been verified. Please take a moment to visit your Account Settings screen and verify your email address. If you are named ring Manager, you will receive an email with further instructions on using the management tools.

that email is being revised to be more clear. There were multiple invitees, so the ring will be placed in auction. Check back to the hub periodically to see when it is available.

It use to be that the invitee who responds is the one who gets the ring. But if more than one responded, then a ring manager would be chosen.
